Information
The Progress OpenEdge team would like to bring your attention to a product alert for Microsoft Windows users who have or are considering upgrading to Windows 10 Creators edition.

Recently Microsoft released Windows 10 Creators update, and it is available as part of their auto-update system and on demand. Progress has identified several issues with this update when running OpenEdge 10.2B or later, with fixes for some in place and others being investigated as a high priority.

RECOMMENDATION: If you have not already installed the Windows 10 Creators update, it would be best to postpone until Progress has been able to investigate and resolve all issues. If you have already upgraded, please contact Progress Technical Support if you are experiencing any issues with your OpenEdge installation after the upgrade.

Updates to this situation will be provided using the Platform and Product Availability Guide, and also in articles like those listed below from the Progress Knowledge Base. Given the scope of the changes by Microsoft, Progress is treating Windows 10 Creators update as a new operating system certification.

If you have any questions, please contact Progress Technical Support.
