Release Updates (formerly termed Service Packs and/or Hotfix) provide fixes for critical issues which can be downloaded from our Electronic Software Download (ESD) site, for licenses under maintenance. The ESD is available from our Progress Communities landing page otherwise a direct link is provided in Article:
Where is the ESD / Product Download Center? Access to ESD requires registration to obtain a Progress SSO login and password. Once logged in Updates / Service Packs or Hotfixes can be found from the same page install media for that Progress OpenEdge version is found.

Since OpenEdge 10.x and later, hotfixes are also delivered via the ESD. These can be found in the "
Progress® OpenEdge® <version> Hot Fixes" section, on the page for the specific minor release.
Alternatively, use the "Product Search" with the exact version number to find the related matching files for download.
