Question/Problem Description

Project is a WEB project created in PDS for OpenEdge. After creating the project itself, a business entity is added to the project. The business entity is associated with the customer table of the sports2000 database. This creates a business entity class. To the business entity class a new method is added. This method is an invoke method and it expects a dataset as an input parameter and a dataset as an output parameter. When the invoke method is called by a REST client (such as POSTMAN), the following error is returned:

"Unable to find class method for OpenEdge.Web.DataObject.MappedOperation_1144: PUT svc:custsvc uri:<class name>/<method name>: type:Class ; name:Business.<class name> fn:<method name>, numargs:2",

Steps to Reproduce

Clarifying Information

The base project is created using PDS for OpenEdge and the wizards generate all of the source code.
The generated source code's only change is the addition of an invoke method.
A REST project created in a similar manner successfully calls the invoke method.
The method added to the business entity class looked like the following:

@openapi.openedge.export(type="REST", useReturnValue="false", writeDataSetBeforeImage="false").
@progress.service.resourceMapping(type="REST", operation="invoke", URI="/myMethod", alias="", mediaType="application/json").
METHOD PUBLIC VOID myMethod(input dataset dsSOFilter,output DATASET dsSOFilter):

MESSAGE "Method wth one input and one output param called!".
END METHOD.

Calling an invoke method that did not expect any parameters worked correctly.

It is thought that this is related to the definition of the dataset not being written to the .gen file located in <project>\PASOEContent\WEB-INF\<service name>.gen
