Product Alert - OpenEdge Service Pack 11.7.3 on hold 1. Confirmation the latest 11.7.3 version install media are downloaded: (11.7.3_UPDATE (aka MAY))a. The current OpenEdge 11.7.3 tar ball or zip file on Progress ESD site has the suffix "
UPDATE", where the previous 11.7.3 install media did not.
Once downloaded from the Progress ESD site, arguably the media could be re-named therefore not conclusive.
Example:
Linux 64-bit 1.9 GB PROGRESS_OE_11.7.3_LNX_64_UPDATE.tar.gz
Windows 64-bit 4 GB PROGRESS_OE_11.7.3_WIN_64_UPDATE.zip
b. Once the 11.7.3 install media are extracted prior to installing the Service Pack:

11.7.3 (April) Service Pack was withdrawn were isolated to
Developer Studio and
CGI/WebSpeed, deemed to be more than annoyances that needed to fixed without post-install workarounds
