Question/Problem Description
How to determine that installed OpenEdge 11.7.3 environment is running the fixed updated version of 11.7.3 ?

What is the Build date of the 11.7.3 re-released version

There are no differences in the DLC/version file for the 11.7.3 UPDATE Service Pack and the previous 11.7.3 SP available in April 2018

Both the 11.7.3 May Update and previously available 11.7.3 Service Pack show the same OpenEdge banner for the same Operating System install:
OpenEdge Release 11.7.3 as of Fri Apr 27 17:40:05 EDT 2018 (WINDOWS)

The following Article outlines how to confirm if the OpenEdge 11.7.3 SP was downloaded and installed prior to the Alert Notice  Product Alert - OpenEdge Service Pack 11.7.3 on hold

1. Confirmation the latest 11.7.3 version install media are downloaded: (11.7.3_UPDATE (aka MAY))

a. The current OpenEdge 11.7.3 tar ball or zip file on Progress ESD site has the suffix "UPDATE", where the previous 11.7.3 install media did not.

Once downloaded from the Progress ESD site, arguably the media could be re-named therefore not conclusive.

Example:
Linux 64-bit 1.9 GB PROGRESS_OE_11.7.3_LNX_64_UPDATE.tar.gz
Windows 64-bit 4 GB PROGRESS_OE_11.7.3_WIN_64_UPDATE.zip

b. Once the 11.7.3 install media are extracted prior to installing the Service Pack:

All content of the ..sp_image folder is datestamped April 27 with the exception of the images that needed to be changed in the 11.7.3 Update Version:

442427143 May 11 11:57 eclipse
    7398751 May 15 16:21 wsrt

** Irrespective of the products installed, these files will be in the tar ball **

2. Confirmation which 11.7.3 SP was installed:

The reason that the 11.7.3 (April) Service Pack was withdrawn were isolated to Developer Studio and CGI/WebSpeed, deemed to be more than annoyances that needed to fixed without post-install workarounds
