Breadcrumb Repeating Itself With VirtualNode True

Hello, we are running in an issue with Breadcrumb widget on 15.4.8622.

 

We set AllowVirtualNodes to true on a detail page for some of our dynamic content so that the bread crumb shows "Content / Content Title" rather than "Content / Content Details". However, instead it is repeating itself (see screenshot below).

 

We are using a custom breadcrumb view (code below as well) but I don't believe we made any changes to the actual C# parts, just some CSS styles.

 

Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? Thanks!
