After upgrading from 11.7 to 12.8.9, project build fails to generate the .paar file
We recently upgraded our Progress OpenEdge environment from version 11.7 to 12.8.9.
Following the upgrade, we are experiencing an issue where performing a project build no longer generates the expected .paar (Progress Application Apache Archive) file for our REST services. This process worked successfully in our 11.7 environment.
Environment Details:
- Previous OpenEdge Version: 11.7
- Current OpenEdge Version: 12.8.9 (LTS)
- OS Platform: Windows Server 2019
- Development Tool: Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge (PDSOE)
Observed Behavior:
The build completes, but the .paar file is missing from the output folder.
Expected Behavior:
The build should generate the .paar file so that it can be deployed to the target OpenEdge Pacific Application Server (PASOE) instance.
