Announcing Automate MFT 1.15 – With even more Integration options

We’re excited to announce the release of Progress Automate MFT 1.15, introducing new cloud storage integrations, expanded compatibility options, and several usability improvements to simplify secure file transfer workflows.

What's New in Automate MFT 1.15

  • Azure Data Lake Storage Endpoint Support
    • Automate MFT now supports Azure Data Lake Storage through a new dedicated endpoint and authentication method.
    • This enhancement enables organizations to perform secure file transfer operations using Azure Data Lake’s hierarchical storage. The new endpoint supports both Access Key and OAuth v2 authentication.
    • With this addition, customers can more easily integrate Automate MFT into modern Azure-based data architectures and enterprise data lake environments.
  • S3-Compatible Endpoint Support
    • Automate MFT now includes support for S3-compatible storage providers through a new S3 Compatible endpoint. This endpoint gives users greater flexibility when working with third-party object storage solutions and hybrid cloud environments, including on-premises object storage devices.
    • This new endpoint is independent of Automate MFT’s existing S3 AWS endpoint, and includes several user-configurable compatibility settings to support a wide range of S3 providers and devices.
  • Better SFTP and FTPS Folder Handling
    • SFTP and FTP/S endpoints now default to using the login account’s home directory. This follows standard practice, but can be overridden to access other parts of the SFTP or FTP/S server’s file system for which the login user has access.
  • Improved Parameter Search
    • Searching for parameters has been improved to provide more targeted results.

Other Improvements

Several fixes and improvements in usage reporting, RBAC/SSO, and other areas.
