Kenji Kishimoto (Customer) asked a question.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a project utilizing Telerik and Kendo UI components for a web application, but I’ve recently run into a frustrating technical conflict involving external script management and UI responsiveness.
Currently, I am using a custom delta vietnam setup to handle some automated background processes and script injections within the app’s environment. While the backend logic is solid, I’ve noticed that whenever the executor is active, the Kendo UI Grid and several dropdown components experience a noticeable lag or fail to re-bind data correctly after an update. It seems as though the executor might be intercepting or delaying the DOM events that these UI components rely on to maintain their state.
I have a few related concerns about this interaction:
I’m not sure if the way a delta vietnam style environment interacts with the global JavaScript scope is causing a collision with the library versions we are using. Additionally, I am seeing some inconsistent behavior where the CSS styling for responsive wrappers gets stripped away during high-concurrency script execution. Has anyone else managed to successfully use a third-party script executor alongside Progress components without these kinds of rendering bottlenecks?
I’m trying to find a way to isolate the execution layer so it doesn't interfere with the UI's performance. I need to maintain this specific workflow for my app's automated tasks, but I can't afford to have the interface breaking for my users.
I’d really appreciate any tips or best practices the community might have for handling this type of script-heavy integration!
Thanks for the help!
Hi @Kenji Kishimoto (Customer)! I reached out internally to a few of our Kendo folk at Progress. This is an interesting one. They said it's a niche enough situation that a support ticket is probably the best way to go. I got the link for that: https://www.telerik.com/account/support-center
Sending you luck and good vibes!
I’d check for JavaScript conflicts and anything that’s blocking the main thread first. Keeping the external scripts isolated from the Kendo components may help with the lag and re-binding issues. Also, if you’re doing a delta executor download, it’s worth checking the file carefully before running it.
