[PDC] Development Schedule for March to June 2026

The Progress Data Cloud engineering team have once again a full list of features they are working on implementing in this quarter (PI 2026.2/Q2 FY 2026) running from March 18, 2026 to June 16, 2026.

We continue to concentrate on our four objectives of "Secure and Trustworthy Platform", "Operational Support", "Platform Functionality Support", and "Performance and Scalability".

Specific features for this quarter include:

  1. FIPS 140-3 Compliance (Part 1) - Many customers require — and in some cases mandate — adherence to the well-established FIPS 140-3 cryptographic security standard. This feature begins the work to certify the platform as FIPS 140-3 compliant, giving customers confidence that MarkLogic Cloud meets rigorous security standards.
  2. Tenant Exposure of Service Analytics and Configuration (Part 1) - Tenant administrators will gain visibility into their service configurations and real-time resource utilisation, enabling them to make informed decisions about capacity — whether to purchase more resources or investigate unusual activity. This empowers customers with self-service insight into their cloud usage.
  3. OpenTelemetry Support (Part 3) - Customers require access to logs and service availability data to meet their own SLA, security, and regulatory requirements. This feature continues integration of the industry-standard OpenTelemetry framework, giving both client service administrators and Progress operations teams a unified view of telemetry, monitoring, and tracing across the platform.
  4. Deploying Cloud-Enabled Versions of New Hosted Services - Earlier iterations introduced initial versions of new hosted services to be used for initial testing. This quarter, fully cloud-enabled versions of these services will be deployed and made available to clients, unlocking the full capabilities of the platform for end users.

The team are also working over the next months on increasing the level of automated monitoring and management functionality to improve service delivery, providing an even more stable and reliable platform.
