Errors when Connecting Via JDBC

I have been advised to utilize HDP for connecting to Deltek Cloud servers, when trying to connect via JDBC I am getting the following error message: [DataDirect][JDBC Hybrid Driver]PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

 

I have added the pem file to the trust store, and I have tried creating a self signed certificate to connect, but i am unable to connect. Are there resources on how to resolve this issue?

    Hi Andrew - For support connecting to Deltek, as their customer you will need to reach out to them.

     

    One small workaround might be to add this to the JDBC URL:

    validateservercertificate=false

     

    Note, this is just a workaround and should not be used as a production solution.
