Update steps from 12.2 to 12.8

I found instructions to go from an earlier minor version of 12.2 X to 12.2.Y, and to go from 11 to 12, but not from 12.2 to 12.8. Can someone point me to where I can find this info please? Thanks.

@Bhaskar Manda (Customer)  Even though 12.2 is not explicitly mentioned in the title, the basic migration steps from 12.2 to 12.8 are explained in following article: https://community.progress.com/s/article/How-to-migrate-from-12-1-to-12-8

The important points to consider when migrating from 12.2 LTS to 12.8 LTS are:

    No database format conversion required

Because both versions are part of the OpenEdge 12 family, your database does not require a major version conversion as part of this upgrade.

    Application compatibility focus

OpenEdge continues to prioritize backward compatibility. Most applications built on 12.2 will run on 12.8 without functional changes.

    Application Server (PAS for OpenEdge)

PAS for OpenEdge instances must be recreated under 12.8. Existing instances from 12.2 should not be reused directly. Applications and configuration can be migrated using supported export/import mechanisms.

    Testing is essential

Even though this is an LTS‑to‑LTS upgrade, customers should perform full application and regression testing to validate expected behavior in their specific environment.
