When connecting to Databricks, does the DataDirect Spark driver support bulk inserts?
We have a JDBC application that uses the open-source Databricks driver. A call to "supportsBatchUpdates()" tells us that this driver does not support bulk inserts, and we've confirmed this with the vendor.
Does anyone know whether switching to the DataDirect driver for Databricks (which I understand is the Apache Spark driver) will allow bulk inserts to Databricks, or are we just out of luck?
