Hi all, I'm struggling on best practices for generating sitemaps for our headless instance of Sitefinity. From the documentation, it sounds like there's a built in sitemap generator feature, however; I don't have it available in our backend site. It's not available under settings -> tools, it's not an option to activate in the modules settings nor is it an option in my site instance properties. I've tried the backend site from both our .net core renderer and from the cms core installation.
Is the sitemap generator an option for headless cms builds? If not, what's the best way to map custom logic to a sitemap.xml file given all the URLs are mapping back to the cms domain?
The Headless package is the minimal needed to run Sitefinity. You might consider adding the following features if you are using it for building a traditional website:
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Telerik.Sitefinity.SitemapGenerator/
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Telerik.Sitefinity.RecycleBin/
https://www.nuget.org/packages/Telerik.Sitefinity.Packaging/
You might also look at the dependencies that Sitefinity. All has: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Telerik.Sitefinity.All#dependencies-body-tab
Headless package: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Progress.Sitefinity.Headless#dependencies-body-tab
