How can I troubleshoot unexpected traffic spikes detected by Flowmon?

Hi everyone,

I’m using Flowmon and recently noticed unusual traffic spikes on my network. I’m not sure where the traffic is coming from or what is causing it.

Could someone guide me on:

  • Which dashboard or view in Flowmon is best for finding the source of the traffic?
  • Any quick steps or tips to identify whether the spike is normal or suspicious?

    You could use Monitoring Center: Analysis.

    Zoom in on the spike by selecting it with your mouse

    zoomInOnSpikeThen scroll down to the Advanced Analysis section below and either see the statistics on what is happening or use the List of Flows to explore what is going on.
