How to resolve these errors?
Hi @Allan Hua (Customer)
With the release of 15.4, Progress has changed the source of all NuGet packages away from nuget.sitefinity.com and is now using the industry standard nuget.org. Here's the KB article explaining it.
Once you change the source, you shouldn't face anymore issues.
BR,
Jochem
Hi Jochem,
I have also added nuget.org(package source - https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json).
Thanks.
I have removed Sitefinity Nuget (package source - https://nuget.sitefinity.com/nuget), still cannot upgrade to 15.4.8600.
Error during receiving package:
Unable to retrieve package with name: Microsoft.Web.Infrastructure and version: 1.0.0.0 from any of the provided sources: https://nuget.sitefinity.com/nuget/, https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json
Error in upgrade.log:
Upgrading from '15.1.8300' to '15.4.8600'
Update-Package : Unable to resolve dependencies. 'Telerik.Web.UI 2023.3.1010.45' is not compatible with
'Telerik.Sitefinity.Core 15.1.8334 constraint: Telerik.Web.UI (= 2023.3.1616.45)'.
Is there anything I missed?
Hi @Allan Hua (Customer) ,
First regarding NuGet not being able to retrieve packages - they're are there on nuget.org as you can see from the below screenshot.
Given your initial reference to the AdminApp, they've updated the repo to 15.4 yesterday, did you include that into your upgrade steps?
BR,
Jochem
Hi Jochem,
I'm also strange about that, I can also find them via manage nuget package, and the version 1.0.0.0 has been installed already in the project.
Update:
Upgrading from '15.1.8300' to '15.4.8621'
Update-Package : Unable to resolve dependencies. 'Telerik.Web.UI 2023.3.1010.45' is not compatible with
'Telerik.Sitefinity.Core 15.1.8334 constraint: Telerik.Web.UI (= 2023.3.1616.45)'.
I checked this package in my VS2022, although I have set Telerik feed in nuget package source, I can only find version 2023.3.1010.45, no other versions displayed.
I think this may be the reason. How to get suitable version of Telerik.Web.UI in nuget package source?
