Richard Rich (Customer) asked a question.
The script I'm currently running keeps failing. . The output of the command is failing at the copy command line. The output shows issues with the text. Could someone please advise on what's missing or needs to be added to the current scrip. Does anyone have a simple minimalistic template:
@login
@enable
copy http://server-name/cisco/image/cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.14.SPA.bin flash: { /Destination filename.*\[\]/, "cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.14.SPA.bin" }{ /Do you want to over write\? \[confirm\]/, "\r" }
install add file flash:cat3k_caa-universalk9.16.12.14.SPA.bin activate commit { /Proceed with the install\? \[yes\/no\]/, "yes" }
install remove inactive { /This command will remove all inactive software images\? \[yes\/no\]/, "yes" }
@write
u/exit
The "@Write" command tells configuration management what to write to the device, and the @read tells it to read or wait for a response.

The script fails because the copy command isn’t matching the device prompts. Use the default WhatsConfigured Cisco firmware upgrade template or add prompt-matching for filename and overwrite confirmation. This resolves the copy stage failure...
You would either need to modify the CLI library it is using for the correct responses, or use the @read in your script to look for the specific prompts.
This PDF, the last one made, explains the scripting language http://docs.ipswitch.com/NM/64_WhatsUpGoldv164/04_Plug-ins/WhatsConfigured/02_Guides/WhatsConfigured31CSLforWUG164.pdf and how to modify it with examples
