Hello,
I am using Sitefinity .NET Core Renderer version 15.1.8333.0
Is there a way to allow editors to pick different Notification email templates, from the System Email Templates section of the site, for use in forms? I was planning to create new System Email Templates (source: https://community.progress.com/s/question/0D54Q00008VxQuXSAV/can-we-add-to-the-systememailtemplates) for the editors.
My requirement is to allow editors to pick different response templates for different forms, but without creating a new fork of the default 'New form response' System Email Template.
I have taken a look at AdminAppExtensions, but I could not find a way to modify the 'Title & Properties' dialog window. I am also not sure if there are ways of modifying this?
This solution already has a custom IFormEntryCreatedEvent handler, so I will not need help with actually sending the picked template - just allowing editors to pick this.
Thanks in advance, any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer.
I can't think of a way to do this admin app extensions or otherwise ... the only 'creative' solution i can think of is a custom widget that is a hidden field, this would then have a selector. In your IFormEntryCreatedEvent you can look for the value of this field and have logic to switch the template.
