Does Progress plan to integrate the Model Context Protocol into future versions of OpenEdge components?
Currently, to create an AI agent, we must develop an MCP Server with a programming language other than OOABL to retrieve data from an OpenEdge database

@Mohamed Hechmi Jeridi (Discovery Intech) Thank you for your question. We are researching many aspects of AI and how it is best integrated into OpenEdge. MCP is certainly one of the topics. As we plan these enhancements, Product Management will share them with our customers. I love that you are into AI, we are using it internally and it certainly can improve productivity!
