Would the HDP be able to connect from Azure Government (GCC High - aka Govcloud)?

We are currently moving to the Azure Government cloud which has additional security restrictions. I currently have a virtual machine on Azure (non Government) with the HDP driver installed that I use for data integrations from CostPoint. I am attempting to research whether this will work after out move to Azure Government.

    Hi Toney,

Sorry for delay in responding. Can you please elaborate more on the deployment infrastructure.

What I understand from your question is

    1. You have HDP driver (ODBC or JDBC?) running in Azure Government Cloud.
    2. Where is your HDP Server running?
    3. What is your back-end Data source?
    4. Are you using Om-premises Connector for the data source connectivity?
    5. You mentioned that you are using data integrations from CostPoint. So I assume that CostPoint is also running in Azure Government Cloud and using HDP driver to connect to other data sources. Is this correct?

Based on the above understanding, if you are not using On premises Connector (OPC), if you are able to make a TCP connection with HDP Server from the HDP driver running in Azure Government Cloud, I believe this configuration should work fine.

Are there any specific considerations that you are worried about?
