Unable to fetch OE version for given OpenEdge installation: unbale to load library /tmp/versioninfo*.dll, when running OECC agents
Hello Everyone,
We have OpenEdge installed on Linux RHEL 8.8 x86_64. I have OECC sever and agents installed on same machine. I am able to access the OECC server and see agent as in running status. But I cannot see PAS instances running on on the server. When I see the OECC agent log file, I see below error message:
VersionInfoDLLReader - Unable to fetch OE version for given OpenEdge installation /data/dlc Unbale to load library '/tmp/versioninfo*.dll'
/tm/versionInfo*.dll: failed to map segment from shared object
OpenEdge vesrion should not be null.
Can someone please advise?
OpenEdge Install Dir: /data/dlc
Version: 12.8.4

Hello Sushil,
Thank you for posting the query.
The error message can be caused by various reasons such as insufficient permissions, no-exec file systems, memory limitations, and corrupted library files(Failed To Map Segment From Shared Object (Resolved)).
Could you please use the ldd command to query the .dll file?
ldd <DLC_location>/bin/versionInfo.dll
Thanks,
Amee
