I looked at the marketing literature for Insight. It seems to have some file tracking ability. There are no examples or demo or anything like that. What we need to do now is report on certain PDFs that are accessed over time. Next we will look at images that are clicked on.

With regards to demo's, Sitefinity's uploaded various Insights video's on their Youtube that should give a decent overview of the capabilities, in particular Sitefinity Insight Product Overview: What Is Sitefinity Insight (youtube.com) and Getting Started with Sitefinity Insight: Analytics - YouTube .
You can also get in touch with your account manager, they should be able to help you get a demo sorted or perhaps even setup a sandbox for you.

Good luck! Until you get around with Insights, Google Analytics would probably be a quicker approach than SiteImprove.
