I need assistance to change the URL of the page.

Hello sir/madam,

I need assistance to change the URL of the page. The current URL of the page does not go with URL standards. When I try to change the URL, it does not let me do so. It looks stuck in somewhere.

This is how the url looks like https://www.mylambton.ca/employees/tlc/ what-to-say instead the url should be https://www.mylambton.ca/employees/tlc . Please provide me assistance to solve this issue. Let me know if more information is required.

    This usually happens because the extra slug (“what-to-say”) is still tied to the page or a child page/redirect in your CMS, so even if you edit the URL it doesn’t update properly; first check if there’s a child page, permalink setting, or existing redirect/canonical rule forcing that structure, then update the slug from the page settings and ensure no conflicts exist—after that, set up a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new clean one (/employees/tlc) and clear cache to make sure the change reflects correctly.
