Active Script Monitor for WMI based Disk Space Utilization
Our customer will not permit SNMP on their Windows servers. I am looking for active script monitors for disk (multiple disks), cpu and memory utilization (not just free MB) that use WMI. Can we pull down such resources from the WuG community, or do we need to reinvent the wheel every time someone needs such monitors?
@Graham Van der vaart (Customer) : Are there specific reasons why you cannot use the built-in CPU, Disk, and Memory utilization performance monitors? The built-in monitors are capable of using WMI as well as SNMP.
Here are the help topics relevant to these monitors:
Hi Jason, thanks for your response. We are using the default event integration script between WuG and BMC BPPM (Truesight) for cutting trouble tickets, and the integration script only forwards active and passive events from WuG to BPPM. The script queries the WuG DB tables for active and passive monitor events. It doesn't cater for Performance monitor generated events at all, and so I need to ensure that all my useful events are from active and passive monitors.
