Dynamic Group to show all devices with a specific monitor down

Here's a query for WUG Dynamic group which will show you all devices down with a specific monitor (by Name) down.

 

In the Query, replace "ENTER MONITOR NAME HERE" with the name of the monitor you used when you created it in the monitors library. IMPORTANT: Make sure the name of the monitor still has the ' ' around it.

 

  1. SELECT PivotActiveMonitorTypeToDevice.nDeviceID
  2. FROM PivotActiveMonitorTypeToDevice INNER JOIN
  3. ActiveMonitorType ON PivotActiveMonitorTypeToDevice.nActiveMonitorTypeID = ActiveMonitorType.nActiveMonitorTypeID INNER JOIN
  4. MonitorState ON PivotActiveMonitorTypeToDevice.nMonitorStateID = MonitorState.nMonitorStateID
  5. WHERE (ActiveMonitorType.sMonitorTypeName = 'ENTER MONITOR NAME HERE' AND MonitorState.nInternalMonitorState = 1)
