The ATM (Automated Teller Machine) Benchmark Tool was written many years ago by Gus Bjorklund as a simple application which puts loosely varied load on a Progress / OpenEdge database.

While the ATM tool generates load upon the database, the database and the system can be monitored to learn or review concepts relating to performance tuning of systems and databases.

Attached are a README file which give the general instructions on the setup of the ATM benchmark.

The code and scripts for UNIX and Windows are also attached.
