    I'm interested in using this profile but in the drop down for Select Instance I'm not getting an item in there to select so it's failing the IIS and SQL server checks. How do I get something to show up in there?

    Hi Mike, client is using WUG v2018 18.3.0 build 122, mine is build 18.3.1 build 128. We raised a ticket last week, and got the new APM Profile template from Tech Support, successfully imported into WhatsUp now.

    My customer told me that he can't import this APM profile today, to his latest WhatsUp Gold v2018. I tried and got the same error message as his "WhatsUp Gold 2018: Import Error - An error occurred while updating the entries. See the inner exception for details". My WhatsUp is v18.3.1 Build 128.

    Is there any version SP* dependency?

      What version of WhatsUp Gold are they using? WUG 2018 includes the APM profile for WUG 2018

    @Chris Morris​ The easiest way to create an instance is to do an application discovery. For WhatsUp Gold, just select the WUG server to run the application discovery on. You will first need to discover the IIS and SQL server application on the WUG server because the Complex application of WUG is dependent on IIS and SQL. So there needs to be instances of them running before you can create one for WUG application.
