the Cpus not loaded
Hi All,
Currently we used Whatsup gold 2017 with premium license, but we have Cpus load issue when adding the vmware host server. the cpus can't loaded with message "the cpus could not be loaded. please ensure the device is available and that the proper credentials are applied".
Please help me..
Thanks.
Rachmad,
You either monitor the machine as a VM, i.e. you go through the steps for virtual monitoring as described, including enabling the MOB (which would provide the data - no MOB=No Data) or you treat it as a standalone server, in which case you need to remove the VM relationships, which will then enable you to monitor the machine as a standalone server.
If you want "a little bit of both", you can leave the machine on WhatsVirtual and create a custom performance monitor that checks the CPU utilization as per the settings and OID that your monitor uses.
Hi ipswitch team,
help please..
Thanks
actually my goal is to monitor the cpu each of esx hosts,
For your info, we also use cacti as seperate monitoring tool, in cacti is able to display all information include CPU utilization esx host only with SNMP credential.
Thanks.
Hi,
Virtual Monitoring works "from above", basically via a vCenter DIscovery whereby vCenter would provide information on connected ESX Hosts and allocated virtual machines.
In order to add a VM or an environment, you would need to run a discovery scan and select the entire set of devices that you wish to monitor and promote them to the monitored network.
It is important that you have working credentials for vCenter and all involved ESX assigned and tested to make sure that the Managed Object Browser (MOB) on those devices is active and working.
