Monitor devices using a collector agent
Hello, Is it possible to install an agent on a jump box that will monitor other devices that the WhatsUp Gold server doesn't have direct access to? These devices are in a remote office and the only way we can get to them is to RDP to a windows jumpbox server through a  site to site vpn connection we have setup to our remote office. Whatsup can only connect to this jumpbox and cant see what is beyound this jumpbox, but once you connect to this jumpbox, you are able to connect to these 5 different devices in the remote office.     I think that answers my question. We have multiple remote office all around the globe and this will help me monitor devices in all these locations.

    you could install an external Poller. That Poller can be installed on a windows machine. You have to add the devices to the Poller and it will collect the data from your 5 devices and transmit it to the wug server via tcp 9713 and 9730. But you need to buy a additional poller licence.

    Does the external pollers help? We have such requirement from time to time, but Ipswitch mentioned that the site-to-site need to be on very low latency and fast network, in order for the remote poller to work.
