CLIENT-PRINCIPAL: What is it, why is it important to me, and how do I use it? After a brief discussion of the role of the CP object and how it fits into the changing OpenEdge security philosophy, David will demonstrate a simple method of using CP with very little application impact while allowing advanced DB security features to be enabled.
DATABASE AUDITING IN OPENEDGE: After a brief discussion of auditing and how it can be used for purposes other than auditing itself, a demonstration of how to get started will be given including simple audit data management.
OPENEDGE EXPLORER : Demonstrate how to connect multiple nodes to a single Explorer console.
