Free/Total Memory counter in Rollbase System Console

This question is not answered

What is the Free/Total Memory counter in the Rollbase System Console "servers" section a measure of?  It seems the the "total" is a high water mark or the like as it fluctuates with the "free".  The "total" also doesn't match our JVM settings or server settings.

Thanks!

  • Hello Jeff,

Could you please provide a screenshot of what you see? Also, where applicable, could you please provide and a listing of the actual values vs observed?

We don't specify -Xm values so I don't know the exact perm size it would be but it's generally about 1/4 of RAM.

This is the column I'm asking about.  The numbers are changing on each refresh of the page, both of them.  But they're not matching any other numbers I can see and for the second number to change, it's not a hard limit.

  • Sorry, don't know why the image didn't post.  It's the Free/Total Memory column on the System Console dash board.  At the time of the above samples it read 302.0 MB/971.0 MB
