In admin environment i try to stop an importjob, the system responces with "canceling" but the job does not stop. Is there an other way to stop this job
You are trying correct way to stop. The import job should get cancelled. Can you provide details about the Rollbase version you are using and import job is normal or bulk import?

Cancelling job doesn't take immediate effect but it will signal the job to cancel. It is stopping after 35 mins is strange. Can you check the job logs file.
If possible share job logs file.
We tried at our end it works correctly.
