I post this idea it here for lack of a better place, feel free to move this if it better fits in elsewhere.

Occasionally we are affected by a known bug in the product (or find a new one). Today we get the bug number and the support case is closed, but after that get no notifications on it until the bug number is mentioned in release notes. 

It would be nice if one could 'subscribe' to a bug so that we get updates if a new workaround is found, or a workaround is implemented in a service pack/hotfix/new release.
