    Yes.

    >Is there any trial version of Pro2...

Please contact Progress Software. I believe there is no trail. But I am sure Progress could make something for you,

    >Database size does matter for Pro2

It does not matter. I have 1.3 TB database, though I replicate only about 5% of it,

The size of the database will affect only the initial push ( Bulk Insert ). And if you replicate only some subset of tables then the size of that subset will matter. The size of the tables that you do not replicate does not matter.

The performance of replication after the initial push will depend how often replicated tables change. You can estimate that by looking at _TableStat VST.

Yes, I have runing Processor Library and Bulk-Copy Processor on Linux.

In Windows, I only use the Pro2 Admin panel to manage configuration.

You cannot run the Pro2 Admin tool on Linux, since this is a GUI-only tool.

    >Is there any trial version of Pro2...

There used to be a 45-day trial in 4.6.5 and prior versions but that was removed in 4.6.6. You might want to check with Sales on this.
