I am using the dataset export function of dynamics 1.1a SP3.01.

I am suprised by the absolute bad performance of this function.

For example, when dumping the dataset: RYCSO

In my case it consists of approx 2500 objects.

Dumping of this dataset on a Pentium III 1Ghz with local DB takes approx. 1

till 2 seconds

per object while the CPU spends approx 100% to my prowin32.exe

Running PROMON on the ICFDB shows a records read per second of 136.7

Not very high.

So I am wondering whether an exporting speed of "0.5 object per second" is

al we can get?

This means that it will take 60 - 80 minutes!
