Does anyone know what the range (from the base station) of the scanner is.  We need it to cover about 50 feet

  • in good conditionse, bluetooth goes about 30 feet. wi-fi can go quite a bit farther - couple hundred with some slowdown over the longer distance. with special antennas, one can go over a mile.

  • Thanks Gus.

Blue tooth may be ok but WIFI would definitely cover it – just a small store are about 30 by 40 feet with computer in one corner
