  • Separating ABL client and server code
  • Creating and configuring a PAS for OpenEdge instance
  • Deploying code to PAS for OpenEdge in a development environment
  • Running ABL client code that calls PAS for OpenEdge, where the server side ABL program is called to access the OpenEdge database and return the requested data to the client
