To see the type and number of OpenEdge licenses that have been purchased in the Progress Download Center:
Login to the Electronic Download Center with your ESD credentials:
Where is the ESD / Product Download Center?
- Select the "Download software" link.
- Select the "Progress OpenEdge" link.
- Select the link for the required OpenEdge Release. Each minor release that has been purchased will be listed separately
The most current maintenance release that has been purchased will be shown in the "New Releases" tab.
To see an earlier release at the same minor release level, click the "Previous Releases" tab.
- Select the link for the OpenEdge Release on the platform of interest (for example, "Progress OpenEdge 10.2B Windows 32-bit").
- Deployment downloads such as "SQL Client Access" may be listed, as well as a link to available Hot fixes for that version. It is not necessary to select these links in order to see all licensed products
- Accept the "Terms and Conditions".
- Select the "License" tab. This displays the License Addendum (sometimes called the "green sheet"), which contains all the OpenEdge products that have been licensed for this version and platform, their serial number and control codes, and the number of users licensed.
The License Addendum page may be downloaded as an HTML file by right-clicking on the page and selecting the "Save as ..." or similar option from the context menu (the exact wording of the option will vary among web browsers).
In OpenEdge 10.1C and later, the downloaded HTML file may be used to load the control codes into the installation utility or the License Update/Product Update utilities. Refer to Article
