AppBuilder support is introduced in the 4GL Development System product in OpenEdge 12.2.5 Update for the Windows 32-bit and Window 64-bit platforms.
As with all Updates, OpenEdge 12.2.5 Update may be installed as an upgrade to an existing 12.2.x installation or as a full installation. An upgrade installation supports the AppBuilder being launched via the ADE desktop or from the command prompt using the command for a 64-bit install:
"$DLC\bin\prowin32.exe -p _ab.p" ("$DLC\bin\prowin.exe -p _ab.p"A full installation of the 4GL Development System product in OpenEdge 12.2.5 Update supports the AppBuilder being launched via the ADE desktop or from the command prompt as the Update. In addition it creates an AppBuilder shortcut on the Windows Start menu. AppBuilder can be launched via this shortcut in addition to the other methods mentioned above.
