WUG 18.3.1 - How to Discovery with hostfile AND have use the name in host file for Display Name
So new to me version, trying to do a discovery using a host file AND have the discovery process use the host name in the host file. My server does not have access to DNS so this is only way in bulk to get proper Display Names configured. Currently it always shows the IP address. Prior ver 15 WOULD use host names in the hostfile.

We have this slated for a fix for the 19.1 release (July timeframe).
Hi thanks, I thought about putting them in the servers hostfile that is located in the windows folder but I do not have rights to make that change so I am blocked from doing that as well. Being able to set WUG to do it from the hostfile used to scan is really my only option.

@PHILIP MORNEAULT FYI, I have this entered into our defect tracking system and it is being investigated by development. If you'd like to be notified about this, open a technical support case and reference that you're waiting for WUG-37374 to be corrected.
I am researching this answer for you, I see the same behavior in my lab environment. I am not positive if this was an intended change or a bug. I will let you know once I find out for sure.
