Question/Problem Description

After Sitesync, the source will always show successful sync. However, at the destination, it doesn’t display the data for the module

Different source provider for the module in the multisite environment is created at the target.

Error Message

Cause

This is because the sites are not synced before sitesyncing dynamic module

Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pk_sf_dynamic_content' occurs due to orphaned related to the parent type (example: "Telerik.Sitefinity.DynamicTypes.Model.<MODULE_NAME>.<CONTENT_TYPE>") in [sf_dynamic_content] table.

Resolution

Perform the following steps to remove orphaned records:
1. Deactivate the module in the target and sync the sites between source and target.
2. The base_ids of the orphaned records in [sf_dynamic_content] table should be isolated.
3. Executed SQL query to remove records related to the orphaned Base_Ids from the following tables:
[sf_dynmc_cntnt_sf_lnguage_data],[sf_dynmc_cntent_sf_permissions],[sf_dynmc_cntnt_pblshd_trnsltns]
4. Records from the parent table should be removed - [sf_dynamic_content], [sf_url_data]
