Project administrators can monitor AI token usage per environment from the Sitefinity Cloud Management Portal. Each environment has its own Azure resources, so you must open the AI token usage logs from the specific environment you want to inspect. If you run a KQL query against the wrong workspace or use the wrong table name, the query may return no data.

- You want to see how many AI tokens have been consumed for a specific environment.
- A KQL query returns no results for Production.
- A KQL query does not return the expected data for Staging, Authoring, or Stage Authoring.
- You are unsure which environment or table should be used to monitor AI token usage.

- Sitefinity AI token usage is available only for projects with an active Sitefinity AI subscription.
- The Sitefinity AI add-on includes AI tokens per project.
- AI tokens are consumed by AI-powered capabilities in the Sitefinity backend, including:
  - DX Assistant
  - Brand voice and style Agent
  - Search engine optimization Agent
  - Custom AI agents
  - Dynamically Generated Experience
  - AI-assisted content classifications such as tagging
  - Editor AI text actions such as compose, summarize, improve writing, personalize, and make text longer or shorter
- Sitefinity AI Assistant uses a separate message-based quota and should not be evaluated through the AI token usage model described in this article.

AI token usage data is synced to the Log Analytics table only after a full calendar month completes. The sync process explicitly skips entries where the end date has not yet passed. This means the current month's data will never appear in SitefinityCloudAiMonthlyUsedTasks_CL until the month ends and the next daily sync runs (midnight UTC on the 1st of the following month).

The "Used AI Tokens" link is intentionally shown only on the Production environment because AI usage is tracked at the project level, not per environment. All environments contribute to one aggregated count in a single Log Analytics Workspace.

Use the Sitefinity Cloud Management Portal as the supported entry point for AI token monitoring.

1. Log in to the Sitefinity Cloud Management Portal.
2. On the Welcome page, locate the environment you want to inspect.
3. Click Used AI Tokens for that specific environment.
4. The link opens the correct Azure Portal resource for that environment, where monthly AI token usage is available in Log Analytics.
5. If you want to run a custom KQL query, use the documented log table:
   SitefinityCloudAIMonthlyUsedTokens_CL

If your query returns no data, verify the following:

- Confirm that at least one full calendar month has passed since AI features were first used. Data for the current month will not appear until the month completes.
- Confirm that the AI add-on is active for the project.
- Confirm that AI features have actually been used (Content Generation, Image Alt Text, DGE, or Agents).
