When Content markup for AI is enabled in Sitefinity and a JSON-LD schema is configured, the structured data is not rendered in the server-side HTML as a native <script type="application/ld+json"> tag when using the Next.js Renderer.

Instead, the JSON-LD is injected through Next.js internal script handling and appears in the DOM only after client-side hydration. As a result, tools and crawlers that inspect only the static server-rendered HTML may not detect the structured data.

The issue is caused by a bug in the Sitefinity Next.js Renderer

Until the fix is available, use the workaround below.

Render the JSON-LD scripts directly in layout.tsx as native <script type="application/ld+json"> tags by reading the layout service response, filtering the head scripts, and outputting only the JSON-LD entries manually.

Example:

const layout = await getLayoutAndInit({ params, searchParams: {} });
const scripts = layout?.Scripts ?? [];
const headScripts = scripts.filter(script => script.Location === 'Head');
const jsonLdScripts = headScripts.filter(script =>
  script.Attributes?.some(
    a => a.Key?.toLowerCase() === 'type' && a.Value?.toLowerCase() === 'application/ld+json'
  )
);

// In <head>:
{jsonLdScripts.map((script, index) => (
  <script
    key={`jsonld-${index}`}
    type="application/ld+json"
    dangerouslySetInnerHTML={{ __html: script.Value }}
  />
))}
