MongoDB Collection Is Visible in MongoDB Compass but Not Discoverable Using Progress JDBC Driver for MongoDB

A newly created MongoDB collection is visible in MongoDB Compass but does not appear as a table when accessed through the Progress DataDirect JDBC Driver for MongoDB. This occurs when the collection contains no documents. The JDBC driver requires at least one document in a collection in order to infer schema metadata and expose the collection as a table.
