The "Request Start Time" column within a PASOE instance's Connections page of the OpenEdge Explorer console uses the Zulu Time (e.g. UTC time zone). For example:

The other PASOE pages in the OpenEdge Explorer / OpenEdge Management console all show the local time.

The exact cause is not known at this time.

Until the fix is available, use the workaround below.

Follow these steps to update the format in which the time is displayed:

• Shutdown OpenEdge Management service.
  • On Linux use the command 'fathom -stop' within a Proenv session.
  • On Windows, stop the "OpenEdge Management Service for OpenEdge 12.x (64bit)" Windows Service.
• Backup the %OEM%\webapps\ROOT.war file.
• Open the %OEM%\webapps\ROOT.war (e.g. using 7-zip) and edit the pas\pasconnections.js file. Alternatively extract the pas\pasconnections.js file from the WAR file. The WAR file is a PK zip file, zo any PK zip utility can be used in this case.
• Within the pas\pasconnections.js file, replace the following line:

return date.toISOString();

• With:

return date.toLocaleString();

• Save the file and make sure the ROOT.war file is updated with the modified pas\pasconnections.js file.
• Start the OpenEdge Management service.
  • On Linux use the command 'fathom -start' within a Proenv session.
  • On Windows, start the "OpenEdge Management Service for OpenEdge 12.x (64bit)" Windows Service.
• Close and reopen the browser which contains the OpenEdge Explorer / Management console to see the changes.
