Impacts to MOVEit Automation, EZ and API clients after applying MOVEit Transfer July 2026 Service Pack

Starting with the July 2026 Service Pack, MOVEit Transfer requires multi-factor authentication for machine interface logins. Service accounts used by MOVEit Automation, MOVEit EZ, and .NET or Java API clients may fail to authenticate unless those accounts are exempt from MFA. This article explains the affected products, common error messages, and the steps to mark service accounts as MFA exempt.
