The web page with the  deployed webservices  is not included in OpenEdge 12.  Querying the URI http://<host>:<port>/<web-app-name>/soap on PASOE provides information of the web service name, Namespace and status of the web service. 

It was determined that the Progress Product is functioning as designed.

An enhancement to the product can be requested through the Progress Community via an Ideas submission. Customer feedback is valuable and Idea submissions are monitored by our Product Management team. Enhancement requests are reviewed during the planning phase of each new product release and a list of the enhancements chosen for implementation can be found in the Release Notes documents that accompany each release. Once an Idea is submitted the Progress Software Community will have the opportunity to comment on and vote for the Idea.

Copy the file wsdl.jsp attached to this article in the related pasoe webapp folder.

For example in
%WRKDIR%\oepas5\webapps\myApp\wsdl.jsp

so that the link
http://localhost:5820/myApp/wsdl.jsp

parse the content of the existing json soap link:
http://localhost:5820/myApp/soap

The link http://localhost:5820/myApp/wsdl.jsp then provide an output like:

where someName1.wsdl is a link to:

The name of the file wsdl.jsp can be changed but it need to be present in the related pasoe webapp folder to be able to find and parse the json soap link of the webapp.

This wsdl.jsp code does not work under OpenEdge 11.7.x because the URL 
http://<host>:<port>/<webapp>/soap
under OpenEdge 11.7.x only returns the following output:
{"AdapterType":"SOAP","Connections":[]}
