Cause

The lazy config is present, but it doesn't contain information about any customizations. When a lazy config is created for a certain view definition, it contains configuration changes for the view (e.g. settings of a certain field were changed)

Resolution

0. Create a backup copy of the site files and the database before proceeding with the fix steps.
1. Locate the lazy config from the error message (it should be present in the file system or in the sf_xml_config_items table)
- In the file system, there will be a physical config file with the name of the lazy config
- In the database, execute the following query

SELECT *
FROM sf_xml_config_items
WHERE path LIKE '%<lazy config name>%'

2. Once the config is located verify if the configuration contains information about customizations made to the view
3. If NO customizations are present, remove the lazy config file
- File system:
Delete file
- Database:
Execute the following query

DELETE FROM sf_xml_config_items
WHERE path LIKE '%<lazy config name>%'

4. Update the content type config file and remove the registration part of the lazy config

The highlighted line should be deleted.
- File system:
Delete it from the file and save the changes
- Database:
Get the configuration content by executing the following query and open it in a text editor:

SELECT CAST(dta AS XML)
FROM sf_xml_config_items
WHERE path LIKE 'DynamicModulesConfig.config'

Make the needed changes in the text editor and update the entry:

UPDATE sf_xml_config_items
SET dta = '<the updated configurations>'
WHERE path LIKE 'DynamicModulesConfig.config'
