Connection to Databricks instance fails with 'General Error' when the Catalogue name is passed in the Database name option using the Spark SQL ODBC driver

Steps to Reproduce

1) Configure the DSN to connect to SparkSQL Databricks instance with the catalogue name 2) Set the option Database=samples (catalogue name) 3) Use example application to test the connection: Enter the user name: abcd Enter the password (invisible) : ************************************ Observed behavior: The connection fails with following error. Expected behavior: The connection should be successful

In order to work with the ODBC driver, the catalog name should be passed in concatenation with the schema name as below.

Set the option Database= <catalog>.<schema> to connect through the SparkSQL Databricks instance using the Datadirect ODBC driver

In thie scenario, set Database = samples.testschema for the connection to work.

Also, on another request to have options to configure catalogue and schema separately at the driver level, it is currently not there and would be an enhacnement to the product.

It was determined that the Progress Product is functioning as designed.
