Chef Infra External PostgreSQL CSPG001 (Changed Setting) [Troubleshooting Guide]

This article covers the meaning of, possible causes for, and any known resolution for error CSPG001, which can be encountered on Chef Infra Servers with external PostgreSQL running. Progress Chef offers instructions about external data stores as a courtesy. The Chef Infra Server products outside of Automate do not fully support external data stores and so limited support for the configuration is available. For example: Upgrades, database migrations, database version upgrades, and many other scenarios become the responsibility of the user when externalizing a database outside of Automate HA or Chef Backend HA supported configurations.
