  • Thunder crashes VS2010
  • After accepting today's upgrade, VS2010 will not run with Thunder installed.  I need to roll back! How can I do so?

The following error appears on the SF Explorer pane.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
  • Hello Amy,

This error is caused by Everlive's portable class library which we use.

To fix the error, you will need to install an update for .NET which is automatically installed when you upgrade your Visual Studio 2010 to SP1. You can also install the update manually without Installing VS2010 SP1.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Marin Atanasov
